Preheat oven to 350 and grease a donut pan for 11 donuts.
In stand mixer add:
1/2 cup pumpkin puree (has no flavor and adds moisture)
1/4 cup heavy cream
4 room temperature eggs (or 2 eggs + yogurt)
2 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Blend all together then add:
1 cup low carb flour
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (optional)
3/4 cup low carb sugar
1 scoop protein powder (whey)
Blend until smooth
Pour 1/3 cup batter in each donut hole. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Let cool completely before removing or adding glaze.
Glaze:
1 cup sweetener
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream.
